HORRIBLE. Initially, i asked him to find out what was wrong with my laptop, and fix it. I asked for a price estimate which seemed to be an unwanted conversation and i was given a very broad 200-500 rate. I figured, if he has to fix something tricky, it would take a while, so seems fair. Shortly after however (the same afternoon) i called to inform him not to fix it, as i will buy a new laptop (the old one was 10 years old), but just do a backup of my old one which i can then transfer to the new laptop. simple. I asked for another quote for this specifically, and was given the same 200-500.-. I then questioned this, naturally, given that 3/4 of the workload had fallen away, with which he got furious, yelling and even swearing at me. HIGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL AND DOWNRIGHT DISGUSTING AND RUDE. In the end, i paid 200.- for opening my old laptop (5mins), taking out the SSD, copying it (not a lot of active work involved here, lets be generous and say 30 minutes), and then copying it over to my new laptop (which i supervised and completed installation, not him). Horrible service. Ridiculously overpriced. will NEVER recommend to ANYONE. Seriously, go to the Apple Store: cheaper, better service. Rant over.

Outstanding service! Local, independent and flexible shop. Called (recommended!) on Tuesday, got an appointment the same day and my MacBookPro was fixed before the weekend (the wife picked it up, yes they also speak french;))! Faster and friendlier than any Apple Store/Partner I've been to...not to mention the fact that Apple officially refused to repair my model (and tried to sell me a new one!).

well, what can I say...After hurrying from Biel after work to get some help I arrive at 16:20 only to find a closed shop, I'm no stickler but I did still have 40min till closing time...Thanks for nothing.

Mein Mac blieb eines unschönen Tages beim Neustart stundenlang hängen. War sehr besorgt all meine Daten verloren zu haben und einen neuen Mac anschaffen zu müssen. Brachte ihn zu DoktorMac, man hielt mich während den Tagen stets auf dem laufenden, was ich sehr geschätzt habe. DoktorMac hat alles retten können und mein uralter Mac von 2012 funktioniert wieder wie neu. Vielen Dank für die Reparatur und den freundlichen Service! Kann DoktorMac nur weiterempfehlen. :)
